Leading Masra at Aseer Innovates 2025
How our team developed a mountain-tourism platform concept and reached the semifinals of the Aseer Innovates Hackathon.
I led the team behind Masra at the Aseer Innovates Hackathon 2025. We developed the concept through the competition and reached the semifinals.
The idea
Masra was our proposal for a mobile platform focused on mountain tourism in the Aseer region. The aim was to make trail navigation and access to safety information more practical for visitors.
The concept combined smart trail navigation, AI-assisted safety alerts, real-time monitoring through connected sensors, and access to certified local guides. These parts were intended to help visitors plan routes, understand changing conditions, and find local support when needed.
My role
I served as the team leader. Masra was a collaborative project, and the concept was developed with contributions from the full team.
