Taking second place at the Project Management Championship
Leading Team Flow through a timed project-management and project-delivery exercise that resulted in second place.
I led Team Flow at the Project Management Championship from 7 to 9 December 2025. Beyond Company organized the competition in partnership with the University of Business & Technology, Effat University, and the University of Jeddah. Our team placed second.
The competition
Beyond Company described the championship as a simulation of real-world project delivery. The organizer reported more than 400 participating students, more than 120 teams, and 75 finalists.
The format
The championship tested project management, with a particular focus on project delivery. It consisted of two linked parts, with one hour allowed for each part.
In the first part, we prepared a feasibility study for a project scenario. Our response included a work breakdown structure and a fishbone diagram.
The second part introduced operational problems into the same project. We then had one hour to assess what had changed and prepare a remediation plan.

The result
The team received second place in the championship.
What I took from it
The most useful result for me was the confidence I gained from working under pressure. Leading a team through two timed project-delivery exercises showed me that I could stay focused, structure the work, and keep moving when the available time was limited.
