My first technical hackathon: AI-Powered Lab
Designing the frontend for a football-analysis concept, reaching the SCAI AI League final, and learning which technical direction was not for me.

AI-Powered Lab was my first technical hackathon project. We began working on it in March 2025 and later presented it in the final of the SCAI AI League. I was skeptical that we would reach that stage, but we did.
The concept
Coach Tactical Analysis was a proposed sports-analytics system for football. The concept used AI to turn match data into visual analysis and practical observations that could support tactical understanding, performance evaluation, and decision-making by coaches and sports managers.
My contribution
I handled the frontend design. The work gave me direct experience with that part of a technical project, but it also gave me a useful negative result: I learned that frontend design was not the specialization I wanted to pursue.
Presenting to the judges
Reaching the final also gave me my first real practice presenting a technical idea to judges and responding to their questions. That experience became more useful to me than the frontend work itself.
