From 14 June to 13 September 2026, I completed an on-site Software Engineering internship with Program Development and Evaluation at Saudi Aramco in Dhahran.

What I worked on

Under supervision and subject-matter guidance, I developed technical content for an internal data interoperability profile based on an IEEE standard. I also reviewed and refined the profile to help ensure that it met its intended requirements.

I played a key role in user acceptance testing for a software upgrade. This work included investigating issues, performing root cause analysis, and documenting findings.

During the internship, I contributed to seven projects while managing competing priorities and maintaining progress. I communicated with stakeholders, followed through on my responsibilities, and worked to meet the required targets.

What I took from the experience

The internship gave me practical experience with technical documentation, software testing, issue investigation, and stakeholder communication. It reinforced the value of clear requirements, structured analysis, and careful follow-through.
